Things are heating up!
AI is going strong again. All the tech stocks seem to be going up. That’s a good deal. The other sectors are not working out quite so well, but that’s what happens when the market focuses on one area. I’m having a good time watching my Micron stock go up, but I’m also excited about Intel, AMD and to be honest, even Big Bear AI. I keep waiting for Big Bear to go up and they are showing some good signs.
I was quite surprised last week (this is Saturday) that some of my loser stocks have started to climb, and in fact a couple came out of the minus range and into the plus range! During the day, there were 4 of them, but at the end of the day, two of them slipped back into minus. But still, it’s a good sign that people are looking at them and adjusting. Proctor and Gamble was one that went up and out of the minus category and then fell back. Another one was Big Bear.
Big Bear was one of my speculative stocks. My other one is ONDAS which was also in the loser category for a long time but this week it pulled out and isn’t doing bad at all. ONDAS makes drones basically and we all know how many of them are being used in the war!
Speaking of the War
I haven’t heard too much except that they keep saying they are about to sign a deal, and then next thing you know they aren’t. Gasoline prices aren’t going down but the Chevron and Exxon stocks I have are dropping a little bit. I don’t think that will last though. They went up when there was all the trouble with the Strait of Hormuz but they have been coming back for a while now.
It’s getting a lot more expensive to live these days and I we are cutting back a little bit here and there ourselves. Like I still put 5 scoops of coffee in my coffee maker but they used to be overflowing scoops and now they are tapped out to about 3/4 full. That cuts back a little bit. Anyway, we all make sacrifices.
