Well, if you haven’t heard of Palantir by now, you have not even looked at the AI environment. It seems that all you hear about is Nvidia and Palantir. Palantir is a software that uses trained AI models and provides real world uses.
I heard about the company in a news report, and when I first looked at getting it, the advisors were all calling it a meme stock and not worth the effort. But I thought that it would be a huge value to have a way to actually use the AI models, rather than just building them.
I decided to take a chance when the stock was up to 24 dollars. Because of all the bad talk about it I only bought 4 shares basically for about 100 dollars. I figured if it all disappeared, I wouldn’t feel too bad.
Silly me!
When I last looked at it the stock was over 180 dollars per share and the current value of my shares is $630.00. That was like a dream buy and if I have been a bit more aggressive, I could have made a fortune. But I’m happy with what I got.
As I understand it, Palantir leads the pack with software in the AI world. They have a lot of government contracts, but when they started selling to the commercial sector, their business really took off.
