Close to 30 years ago, my son and I were updating or household computer. We had just come back from a computer show, where we had bought another wonderful bunch of components to add to our desktop. One of the things I had never known about before was a graphics accelerator card to plug in and run the monitor off card instead of the regular port on the motherboard.
That card was made by Nvidia. It appeared that from the other folks in the show, the Nvidia card was the Cadillac of graphics cards. Who knew?
Ok, so now all these years go by, and I hear the name Nvidia again. All those memories of my son and I upgrading our computers over and over came back to me, and I knew I had to get some of the stock.
The problem was that it cost almost a thousand dollars to buy. But I heard through the grapevine that the stock was going to split at a 10 to 1 ratio. That would mean that the stock would drop in price to about 100 dollars. I figured that I would wait.
The day came and I couldn’t help but get in and buy some stocks. I bought 3 to keep me in my budget. I wish I could go back to that day and buy some more. As you probably know the stock has been climbing and I couldn’t be happier to be involved. After all the AI world it really amazing!
