I’ve had computers in my house since around the ’80s. The early ones were 8080 chip based, but eventually I got into Microsoft Windows operating systems and started using Intel Chips. Once I tried an AMD chip machine but I really didn’t like it, and so I always looked for machines with “Intel Inside.”
I’ve heard that AMD has gotten a lot better, especially for the AI servers but I have yet to get any laptops with anything but an Intel chip. So, I believe in the company, and I know that it’s going to be a good choice of stock.
It has been suffering a good bit, and is still in and out of the red in my portfolio, but I have faith in the company and that’s why I bought it.
