December 31,2025

Yup, last day of the year. And here we are stuck in on a Santa Claus Rally. I gotta tell you, it’s not exactly what I expected. I thought the stocks were going to go up. But I guess I got it wrong. I haven’t heard anyone else talking about the rally in my investment news either. I have a feeling they are all keeping their heads down hoping no one will bring it up.

I think it’s kind of funny that they haven’t said anything about it, even if it was “well, that didn’t work!”

We all know that investing is volatile, especially this last year or so. And I have to admit that I have been surprised by which ones went up and which ones went down. But the best that I can do at this point is just hold on tight and keep the faith. I bought these stocks because I believed in the companies. I still do.

Look at this!

Do you see all that red in the total gain/loss column? It was quite an end to the last day of 2025. Should I be happy that the year is over? Are we going to do better in 2026?

I hear that the election years often cause things to be really volatile changes, and people tend not to invest as much in stocks like Nvidia or Palantir. In these days I would not be surprised if people loaded up on insurance companies, and pharma companies. I hear fin stocks are going to be popular. I don’t know what I’m going to yet at this point!
