All I can say is that it’s a good thing that I am not trying to use my stock powers to make money! If I was, I would be really worried right now. It seems like of the last 3 trading days (Friday, Monday and today) it has been all downhill. The S&P is down more than half a percentage point and just seems to want to keep going that way. If this is a Santa Rally, then we are in trouble!

Even though there have been one or two of my stocks that rose a little bit, there are several have dropped more than I like, and others that have just gone down a little bit. It’s really been bad. Palantir is up a little bit, but Nvidia is down about the same. SMCI is down more as well.

I spent yesterday and the weekend researching a few stocks that I would like to add to my portfolio, but with the way things are going, I may just wait a bit longer. I don’t know. Being that it’s the end of the year, and the holiday times, I think it might be best to get through all that before making any moves.

I am concerned with the AI positions that I have. Sure, Palantir seems to be doing ok, but all my other AI positions seem to be in trouble. I’m thinking Nvidia, AMD, Intel, and several others. What really surprised me is that the energy stocks, especially Chevron and Exxon Mobil are tanking. I never thought that would happen.

Looking at some of my other stocks, the Proctor and Gamble has gone way down, and my commercial real estate stocks are down too. Western Digital seems to be regaining its level, but that’s the only AI stock that seems to be ok. I do have some Dollar General, and I have to admit, they seem to be doing ok. I guess that means that more people, even those with money are shopping for cheap items. I suspected that would happen which is why I just bought the Dollar General Stock.

I didn’t buy Target when I thought I should have but now I think it’s gone higher than I want to spend on it. I missed it, but I can’t think about that. Hindsight is 20/20 right? But I think I have reached the point where I am not going to invest any more or take any actions at all. I feel that I am diversified enough that it will all work out ok. I have healthcare stocks, financial stocks, and customer staples. I;m pretty sure I will be ok, but I am going to watch and wait for a while.
