In my job, I had done a lot of work with the networks in our building and even in the whole corporation. I helped to put together the network servers which we had in a large closet in the building. It was a collection of computer boxes and a lot of boxes that allowed the servers to all communicate with each other. Those boxes were called Cisco Switches.
So, I was thinking about all the servers that were going to go into all these data centers that they kept talking about, and I know that they will need these switches too. We considered Cisco to be the best in that world.
So as a part of the AI ecosystem, I think Cisco will be a huge part. It ran in the red for a big part of 2024 but seemed to pull out in 2025.
