So, the way that I understand it, companies like Nvidia and AMD and even Intel don’t make their own chips. They design them and prepare the way they should be made, but they have a foundry actually make the chips.
TSMC is the major producer of the chips, but they get the equipment that is used to make the chips from ASML. So this makes ASML sort of a third level support company for the AI world. As the chips become more and more sophisticated, ASML will be the company that anyone who wants to make the chips will be calling on to buy equipment.
