As a big Computer section buyer, I had to get Apple. They are a major player in the story of computers, and I had avoided them because the stock too expensive.
I remember when Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were together at the xerox think tank, and while Bill came away with the need to build a network from what he learned, Steve came away with a mouse as a new interface. Those were magic days.
Anyway, Steve started Apple with a couple of others and swiftly became a force to be reconned with. I have a firm belief in the Apple company, but it took a long time for me to use their products.
So I couldn’t afford a lot of the stocks, in fact, I only bought one. But I have to admit, it has continued to do well.
