Although I heard about this company from a news release and not from my personal use, I am kind of excited about owning a part of this company. Like Palantir, they create software that uses AI rather than developing AI itself.
One of the things that I really like is the software that uses facial recognition to identify people in airports, making the customs check much faster and easier. It makes our airports safer, so I was all for that.
I was impressed by some of the ways they use AI to solve problems. Although a lot of the contracts they have are with the government, they have started to find places in the commercial sector. That should really boost them. I think they are doing a great job in reaching out to companies as well as the government to expand the business.
I already owned Palantir stock, and while you might compare the two companies, I have found that they each have their own way of using AI for real world uses. We will see how it pans out but I’m pretty sure this is going to be a great company.
