Looking forward
Today, the President will be giving the State of the Union address, and I am not expecting good things. I think the President is still angry that the Supreme Court decided that his National Emergency Tariffs were illegal. Of course, he countered by doing a 150 day raise of all tariffs to 10 and then 15% as he felt that people were not taking him seriously. This whole tariff thing has me boggled.
I don’t understand because it seems that when he doesn’t like the way a country is treating him, he says “I’ll fix you! I’ll tax American Citizens!” I just don’t get it! I’m sure he has a plan in mind, I’m just not sure how it will work out.
I suspect the State of the Union address will have lots of inaccurate “facts” because he doesn’t seem to do will with those. We know he has a problem with math. Lowering drug cost 1400% just doesn’t happen. But we will see what he says. I’m sure the Supreme Court decision that just came down will be a topic and how he will respond.
I imagine he will blame the FED for not lowering interest rates enough, and he will blame Democrats for that as well as many other things. I am hoping that he will explain his plan to move forward, because I am really confused. I am not looking forward to the hours of news agencies talking about the bruise on his hand of what words he slurred. That really gets tiresome.
I hope that there isn’t a crazy reaction to the statements from the crowd like there has been in the past. I just want to hear what he has to say and then decide for myself. I’m sure that the feeling around the world is the same. Let us hear the plan so we can adjust what we do accordingly. That’s all.
