It’s kind of funny but I bought Verizon on the same day as I bought AT&T. We use Verizon as our internet provider at our store. It also includes the phone system there, so I have a history with the company and I am happy with the service and assistance when we needed it.
The stock itself was about twice as much as AT&T so I bought half as many shares! Probably not a good move because Verizon pays more in dividends, and I know I can always go and buy more, but right at this point when I am writing this, I’m not sure where I am going to spend my money.
Like all my stocks, it has gone up and down over time, but I have had it almost 2 years at this point so I think it’s pretty reasonable.
