This is the second part of my test of index funds. I was wondering if the total market fund would be more likely to go up or down, since it has more stocks in it.
This fund has no expense ratio so it’s free to own, there are no additional fees. I put the same amount of 200 dollars in both index funds to see if there will be a big difference in the way they react.
To be honest, they dropped in price as soon as I bought them and their ongoing recovery seems to have them joined at the hip, so I will continue to watch and see what happens.
Since this is a Fidelity only account, I cannot display the chart.
